The Bavaria Corporation was founded in 1986 by William Schaeflein, a hardworking German immigrant who personified his home country’s reputation for excellence in engineering and Bavaria’s relentless push for progress. After Willie passed away in June 1997, his son Peter Schaeflein stepped up from longtime office manager to helm the company as president and CEO.
