Bavaria Corporation was founded in 1986 by William Schaeflein, a hardworking German immigrant who personified his home country’s reputation for excellence in engineering and Bavaria’s relentless push for progress. After Willie passed away in June 1997, his son Peter Schaeflein stepped up from longtime office manager to helm the company as President and CEO.
From the start, Bavaria has produced and innovated in the field of natural food additives for use in marinades, injections, seasoning mixes and other applications specifically for food processing and food service companies.
Over the last few years we have expanded our line of clean label, food safety solutions based on natural plant extracts. We now offer specific products for the dairy, beverage, fresh produce, RTE foods and bakery applications.
Most recently we have developed innovative products to promote and maintain health in livestock without the use of prophylactic antibiotics.
